Data Deletion

You can have your data removed from Perspectiv at any time. Here is how, depending on what you want deleted. Every request is completed within 30 days, and Instagram-connected data is removed immediately.

Disconnect Instagram

If you connected Instagram to claim your profile, you can revoke that connection two ways:

• In Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and Websites → Perspectiv → Remove. Instagram notifies us and we automatically unlink your account and delete the stored Instagram user ID and username.
• Or email support@perspectiv.ink and we will unlink it for you.

Remove your artist profile

Whether or not you ever claimed it, you can have your profile taken out of the search index entirely. Email support@perspectiv.ink from your account or with your handle and we will remove it, no questions asked. Claimed artists can also hide individual photos from their dashboard.

Delete your account

To delete your Perspectiv account and all associated data, email support@perspectiv.ink from the address on your account. We will confirm and complete the deletion.

What is deleted and what is kept

When your account is deleted we remove your email address, name and sign-in ID, along with your likes, boards, follows, saved searches and any photos you uploaded.

A few things are kept:

• Usage analytics that are not linked to your account (page views, anonymous session data) stay in our analytics tools under their normal retention.
• Database backups roll off within 30 days, after which no copy of your account remains.
• If you paid for a Featured listing, the payment record is kept by our payment processor (Stripe) for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Confirmation

When a deletion is triggered through Instagram, Instagram receives a confirmation code and a status link from us. For requests by email, we reply when the deletion is complete.
