Dark romantic realism tattoos — stories of love, loss & rebirth. Crafted for souls who find beauty in shadow. 🖤 @gurutattoo | San Diego

Lorenzo Gomez is a tattoo artist in San Diego, California whose work centres on realism. Realism is the one style that runs through the portfolio: 30 of the 64 pieces on Perspectiv carry it, and no other style shows up consistently. Nearly all of it is black and grey, measured from the pieces themselves. Skull, snake, butterfly and woman come up again and again. The forearm and the shoulder are the usual placements. There are 47 healed pieces in the set, not just fresh work. Portfolio last updated September 2026.
